Calling My Name

I'm not sure of the reason, but these little black & white beauties have been calling me (all day long) to eat them.... [All. Day. Long] ... Luckily, there aren't any at home...

...but I thought about really screwing the diet and making a run to my local market to get me some...I even started to rationalize purchasing them...I told myself that if I walked to the market (a few blocks away), I'd be burning off enough calories to eat a few and not have to worry about the calories/carbs/fat content...but eating Oreos is like eating Doritos...you can't just eat a few....you have to eat the entire goddammn bag!

The real kick in the pants came when my neighbor brought over some of my mail that had got sent to his place...and I couldn't believe it, but he was actually drinking an Oreo milkshake from Jack-n-the-Crack...

Then things got really ugly & I actually committed a sin...I coveted my neighbor...and that's not really cool, cuz he's like really old & wrinkled.

So in the end, I tuned out the siren's call & satisfied my sweet tooth craving by eating 1/2 of a cantalope ...mmm... so delish! I tried to comfort/motivate myself by agreeing that when I finally meet my weight loss goal, I'll buy me some Oreos (and some milk) and eat the entire bag. I may have to commit the following day purging myself silly to doing nothing but cardio, but it'll soooo be worth it!

Well done. I crave while shopping at the store. I should never, ever go to CVS. Ever.

good for you... although, if the cravings were upon me, I probably would've grabbed the oreo milkshake and taken off with it... how old is... could you outrun him??

You'd have had to do a lot more than walk to the store to work off a few Oreo's. I am glad to hear you resisted. One trick - exercise dampens your appetite, so if you get the urge to eat, MOVE! ;-)

Good job, fighting off the Oreo craving. I know it wasn't easy as i've been there many times in recent weeks. Only with white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies.

Sounds like the Taco Bell craving I had last night. Ugh! Why does food have to be so evil! Glad you resisted the urges though. Takes alot to turn away from those temptations. Oh and thanks for giving me a visual of an old man taking his dentures out! Where's the soap? I need to wash my eyes out now!!!

Sweetie I ate an ENTIRE row last weekend. Fortunately my running burned off my stupid OREO binge-fest. But I hear you!

They sure were good. Like really, really good. I had a Diet-Coke, too.

If you're going to be bad, why not get the fudge covered ones? Those are so OMG

I wish the world just never came up with junk food.

I must confess, I think the ones from Trader Joe's are better. More filling in the middle, cost less.

That being said, once any cookies are in the house, I can not stop until they are all gone.

Don't let them in!

I am so glad I rarely crave sweets.

Instead I crave weird shite like crab legs, and stuffed mushrooms.
