Dreamy Dreams

I have many reoccurring dreams...usually, they're unpleasant. There is one unpleasant dream in particular that I've been having since I was a kid. A few nights back, I dreamt of The Child Catcher again. The Child Catcher used to scare the hell outta me.

I have no idea why I'm still dreaming about this freak (as an adult) or what triggered my subconscious to have this nightmare invade my beauty sleep.

In case you've never seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang you may not know of whom I speak. ...I found this video on YouTube, so take a peek at what I dream about:

Do you eat before you go to bed?

I always get funky dreams if I eat.

Sweet dreams!

I never saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang but it sure is creepy! I can see why you would get freaked out. Kinda like that damn clown from poltergeist!

What is it with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? Tim loves that movie (I hate it!). Oh, shock! Paul has never seen it!

That child catcher is certainly freaky alright! I have bizarre dreams rather than scary ones. And Alexis Colby pops her head up now and again. WTF she is doing in my dreams I will never know!

Damn you Chris, now I got that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang song in my head and I am just sitting at my desk bobbing my head and singing!

"...chitty chitty bang bang I love you...." HA

Not sure why you still dream about that now - but it WAS scary as a kid! Yikes! Sounds like you need to watch CCBB with Mr. Paul though. ;-)

As a kid this dude freaked me out.

But now as an adult who hates children, I absolutely ADORE him!

In fact, I use the "I smell children" line a LOT.

Ok beyond creepy when he appears in the window upside down...you poor thing! :-)

Many, many thanks for your really sweet comments the other day. It's a tough time but made easier by the kindness of friends and fellow bloggers.

The flying monkeys from the Wizard Of Oz are still guaranteed to give me nightmares.

I'm a child of the 60's/70's. I had nightmares of skin-divers coming to take me out of my bed.

Too much Lloyd Bridges and SEA HUNT. Go Google that, little lambs...

Deep sea divers still freak me out!

Oh man, we must be twins separated at birth because he used to scare the shit out of me as well. When I saw the Broadway show I still thought he was scary and was happy to be an adult so I had a little more power to fight him and that he would not be interested in me anymore.

I still think this role was Michael Jackson's best performance ever.
