2008 Summer Olympics

Tonight's the opening ceremony for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing...that's like, in China.

I love watching what the host country does to entertain the world, and also watching the athletes marching with their home countries (read: playing "spot the hottie/homo") is always fun .

I heard that $300 million was spent on the opening ceremony.

Go USA!

i like your blog, but i'd also like to point out that you are STILL two orders of magnitude off. China spent an unprecedented $40 BILLION dollars to put on the olympics. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/7523235.stm
