A Kiwi Popped My Cherry

I finally got the chance to meet a fellow blogger....and what a fellow! Franck, of Planet Franck fame, was in L.A. for one night only, this past Sunday, and he chose ME to be his husband only visitor.

Franck was the first blogger I've actually met...well technically, I've seen this guy in the flesh, and he saw me, but we weren't sure if we were...we(?)...us(?)....we were both at the gym, and I was dying on the treadmill, while Greg was standing in line, waiting for my tired ass to get finished, but I digress.

First impression(s): I wasn't expecting him to be so tall (6'2"), but that's a nice surprise...his accent is killer...also, what a great sense of style this man has...his closet wouldn't be safe around me. We went to dinner at O-Bar, (yummy), and then ended up at The Abbey for Martinis, Cosmos, and a couple (few?) Malibu & Cokes...I had so much fun & I only wish that Franck had a little more time to spend in L.A., but I'm very grateful for the time we did have together.

It was great seeing you Franck!

When I talked to him on the phone, I thought he was going to think I was a total (instead of clever) fool.

But, ya gotta love that accent.

Well, ain't that a kick in the pants!

It's such a weird thing - I generally feel that meeting bloggers would ruin the blogging experience for me - kinda like living in Las Vegas would ruin the fun I have when I go there. ;-) But, I might give it a shot for the hot ones.

I was not checking out that guy's ass. Well, maybe. Next time, I will make sure to say hello to you!!

Ahhhh. Two of my favorite bloggers meet up. Oh, the fantasies in my head right now....

Hahaha. Glad you two got along so well!

Bummer I missed Franck. He emailed me that he was coming to town, but I had family in town... well, I'm sure he liked the Abby better than the Valley Armpit. Did you check under his hood to check his religion like Kiss-And-Tell?

I'd say you are damn lucky that you even have a cherry that needs to be popped by a Kiwi.

The pleasure was all mine, I couldn't have asked for a more gracious host for my first visit to LA!

I'm so jealous. I had the opportunity to meet Franck while he was at the Calgary airport, but I couldn't make it work. *cry*
