Heading Home

It's 5 a.m. and I'm heading to the airport, to catch a 7 a.m. flight to NYC for my annual visit. I'm really looking forward to getting some shopping done, eating way too much food, taking in a couple of musicals, going on a walking tour, checking out The Met, cruising Central Park, and the highlight of the visit wll be meeting up with some of my favorite bloggers on Friday.

New York has always felt like home to me. I think I was born on the wrong coast...maybe I can correct that someday!

My posting may be minimal or non-existent the rest of this week, but please don't leave me...I get back late Sunday evening...gotta run, my ride just pulled up!

I hope you changed into pants before you got on the plane, cause the weather here in NY this week has gone south. It was 90 degrees on Monday, but the high for Friday is only supposed to be 55. The HIGH!

Dammit, picture[s] is blocked here at work! @#$%&!! Will have to check it out from home. Have fun in NYC! You gonna see Xanadu? ahahah! It was okay, I personally think they tried too hard - overcheesy!

Talk to you when you get back!!!

It's quite nipply out here right now... So, if you're going to cruise Central Park, make sure you bring sweatpants so you can pull up quickly should the cops come. ;-)

See you on Friday!

Thanks Robert! now I have Xanadu stuck in my head! So much fun though....they play it every time we go to Oil Can Harry's in Studio City :-)
Chris: you better have put some pants on! Can't have you coming back sick on us!

Every time I visit NYC, I think to myself, "I need to live here someday."

Then, I calculate how much money I spent in five days and how much I'd need to make a year in order to keep myself in the lifestyle to which I've become accustomed, and I head home rather willingly at that point ...

Have a GREAT trip. I love NYC too, and have family in Brooklyn (I'm originally from the Philadelphia area) and I know NYC well. I'll want to see pictures, young man!

New York is my fave too. Remember that if you plan on pulling a train in Central Park, to dress appropriatly, the Brambles can get a little nippy.
